The House of Windsor has another reason to celebrate as Coronation year gets well and truly under way. Princess Eugenie is expecting a second child.
The princess, who is eleventh in line to the throne, made the announcement the 21st century way with a post on her own, official Instagram, complete with photo taken by husband, Jack Brooksbank.
With her in the snap is her son, August Brooksbank, who is about to turn two. August's brother or sister will follow him in the line of succession, at number thirteen in that list. The baby will also be the thirteenth of the great grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and the first to be born after both their deaths.
Baby Brooksbank will be a third grandchild for Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York. But there is no title for the little one who will also be a great niece or nephew of King Charles III and the first new member of his family to make their appearance in his reign. They are also the third A place in history and a reason to smile as the Windsor year unfolds.
